Pastor Esther M. Murray-Purnell

Pastor Esther M. Murray-Purnell is a devoted woman of God, faithfully serving in ministry for over 40 years. As the co-pastor of Healing Balm Ministries, she leads alongside her husband, Bishop Joseph E. Purnell, Sr., with grace, wisdom, and a heartfelt commitment to seeing lives transformed by the power of God’s Word.

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Pastor Esther has been joyfully married for 39 years. She is deeply passionate about strengthening families, empowering women, and nurturing spiritual growth within the church community.

With a strong educational background that enriches her teaching and leadership, Pastor Esther is known for her compassionate spirit, practical insight, and dedication to excellence in ministry. Her life reflects a sincere love for God, His people, and the transformative work of the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Esther is the Founder and CEO of Salty Oasis, LLC where she is known for her exceptional capacity to accurately assess, evaluate, and provide comprehensive plans that help adults and children to maximize their fullest potential, educationally and personally, by using professional strategies and practical approaches that will assist with the overall plan development.

Pastor Esther earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Delaware State University and her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership/Administration from Wilmington University. Pastor Esther has been an educator for over 35 years. Twenty of those years were spent in the classroom as an Emotional Support teacher and the remaining 15 as a School Administrator/Principal.
